Looks like a really big airshow developing in Atlanta, at the Dobbins Air Reserve Base (North side, in Marietta). BOTH the Blues and Snowbirds! Should be great!

My wife & I are going and meeting a local photography group there. It should be a great show, and the static displays look pretty impressive too. I expect a miserable time getting in and out of there, but it's worth it!

I would say lockheed. Id feel the safest parking there. Im going to try my luck with getting on base...

I'm going. Have not been to an Air-show since I was a kid. Just curious... will I need a flash (580EXII)?

That is whay I was thinking. I guess as long as we get there early enough it may not be a problem.

Not for the planes in the air. ;) :lol: For static shots or people shots it can help though. Looks like sunny skies all weekend so count on nasty shadows!

I would agree - that's where we are parking. Jim Miller park is a long drive off the interstate. Whitewater looks very convenient to I-75 but I've never been there.
