Zenfolio Help

I am working on my new Zenfolio account. I got the Premium account. I am having a hard time getting google or yahoo to pull it up. Any suggestions would be greatful!

some suggestions:

1) add a link to your site in the 'signature' of the forums you frequent (as I have)
2) share photos by linking to them on forums and otherwise
3) add the link to your site in profiles you have (linkedIn, facebook, flickr)
4) add your url here

Also you can create a watermark that includes your site address - free advertisement

also:

5) go to 'search engine tools' after clicking on 'preferences' via your zenfolio page and add relevant keywords such as your name, location, descriptions of the kinds of photos on your site.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Can Google look up my site? I done all the stuff except get a domain name.

Google just seems to think Zenfolio doesn't exist. I can post the same photo on both Zen and PBase....tagged and keyworded exactly the same, within minutes the shot on PBase is showing on Google, the shot on Zen almost never shows up. I have no idea why, but there has to be something in the way Zen is set up that isn't quite right.

You need to give web crawlers at least 24 hours to locate new pages, and it may take longer to get yours to be recognized. You probably will have to search for your exact page like: zenfolio joe smith photography

You can add the hidden search words but remember that google search results go by popularity of websites visited that were searched for and are cumulative. So don't expect your zen site to be the first return (or even the 50th return) when you search for: detroit portrait photography (or whatever).

With zenfolio, you need to make sure the photo security settings are set to have the image locatable by search engines. And there are Forums on zenfolio for help and most times it is zenfolio workers or zenfolio members helping on the behalf of zenfolio providing answers in the forums.

I am also using Zenfolio and looking for help as getting my website soming up in the first page. I've done a few tips from your link. I am using photodr.ca to forward to rivest.zenfolio.com

Any tips on how to get one or the other show up in the first results?

any photo book product in zen?
i looked for one but there's none.

any other option? my clients are looking for it.
