Hey guys, I use Lightroom and I've been enjoying it very much for touch ups. I know Photoshop and Lightroom are pretty big... Do you guys know any other programs that are similar to lightroom with different effects/touches I can play with to enhance my photos? Photoshop is a bit complicated, I would like to try something a bit easier like lightroom.

Thanks in advance!

There are plenty of programs, some free and some not. This has been discussed here many a time. There are things like GIMP, Paint Shop Pro for emulating what Photoshop can do. If you want an uncomplicated and affordable program try Photoshop elements. There are many RAW converters available too. Searching for just that, RAW converters, will return pretty much all the options available out there. I am not aware of any programs that duplicate everything that Lightroom does but there are plenty of cataloging systems out there. Some of these will facilitate RAW conversion. You can see a full listing of these at this site (external link)

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

If you have and use Lr already, just search for some plug-ins or presets that give the effect you are looking for. Lr is awesome and easy to use!

BlueSky, are you saying that you can't or don't want to keep using Lightroom and want an alternative?

Thanks very much for your response and where for me to look for different alternatives. I will try searching more.

I WANT to keep on using lightrooms, but like the previous post stated, I want to know what other prgrams offer in different effects that I could play around with.. An alternative to lightroom is a plus. Because lightroom is great.. I really like it a lot
