There are plenty of programs, some free and some not. This has been discussed here many a time. There are things like GIMP, Paint Shop Pro for emulating what Photoshop can do. If you want an uncomplicated and affordable program try Photoshop elements. There are many RAW converters available too. Searching for just that, RAW converters, will return pretty much all the options available out there. I am not aware of any programs that duplicate everything that Lightroom does but there are plenty of cataloging systems out there. Some of these will facilitate RAW conversion. You can see a full listing of these at
this site
Thanks very much for your response and where for me to look for different alternatives. I will try searching more.

If you have and use Lr already, just search for some plug-ins or presets that give the effect you are looking for. Lr is awesome and easy to use!
I tried searching for some plug-ins and presets! it seems soo limited! If you have or know where they are would you mind letting me know? thanks!

BlueSky, are you saying that you can't or don't want to keep using Lightroom and want an alternative?
I WANT to keep on using lightrooms, but like the previous post stated, I want to know what other prgrams offer in different effects that I could play around with.. An alternative to lightroom is a plus. Because lightroom is great.. I really like it a lot
