Hey everybody. I just picked up the tamron sp af 70-200mm f2.8 lens and wondering if any of you out there use this lens for capturing sports action? If so, could you please show me some pics from its usage... Thanks

Tamron sp af 70-200mm f2.8

Canon 24-70 F4L

I've shot an entire triathlon with that combo. The Tamron is sharp when it hits it's intended target, but there's also a fair share of OOF shots.

The autofocus is leisurely, but lenses in the 70-200 f/2.8 class that focus faster cost from two to four times as much as the Tamron.
