Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker on its side awaiting a pair of vintage RCA gray plates. Had fun with the usual "fish to shiny metal" moment here lusting on a pair of vintage RCA 6V6's. I have a '58 long plate Bugle Boy for the phase splitter. We shall see ...

Why crank the ISO when you can make art out of sheer laziness?

I have a MESA 5:50 Express and...your photo does MESA no justice. Sorry but would have loved to see an 'art' shot of your amp mate.

Didn't know I was shooting calendar for Randall. Maybe I should put the bong down, sell my camera, and take up underwater bungee jumping, with a minor in knitting. But I won't. I'd rather make art. It's far more entertaining in my world ...

Interesting shot. What was the process in taking this one? Hand held at 1.6sec?

I usually agree with you... but this ones a bit far fetched there and a bit harsh.

ISO 100 and 1.6 seconds, 50/1.7 at 2.8 most likely.
I think TekHouse was expecting a nice high end product shot or something in a better setting.

No worries ...

For processing I used Capture One raw. This is a small crop from a much larger frame. I enjoy the low key color and tonality, textures, and reflective patterns.
