Neither unless you are talking about shooting lawn bowling. I have the sx20is and it is a nice little point and shoot but would never try to shoot anything moving fast.


My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

As sheldon said, neither. Dont expect much out of it when shooting anything fast.

I own an SX10is, and I agree with both of the above. The shutter lag and slow shot-to-shot time make it difficult to shoot sports with a P&S.

It may cost a bit more but a refurbished or a used rebel xti or an Xs or an XSi and maybe a used 55-250mm IS lens would make a huge difference than a 20x bridge digicam if you are interested in sports.

You'll get faster zooming (manual vs that electric motor), better continuous AF performance, less shutter lag, perhaps more burst rate, less viewfinder black out when you take a shot. Not to mention the better image quality.
