Man I turned in my CF card for RMA on the first and they still have not shipped my replacemant. They keep saying it's in the final shipping stage for the last week.
Simply bad business.

Ugh... wonderful. I'm waiting on a drive to come back from there. Good luck, hope you get your card soon.

Living in Finland, I used UK Lexar service center (Lexar Media (Europe) Limited, RedHouse, Brookwood, Woking, Surrey GU24 0BL, United Kingdom) and got the replacement within few days. I was very please with this service (though sending card for replacement was not something I expected ...)

Good luck to you to. They told me I would have the card last week, now they say it never shipped. Now they are asking if I needed data recovery, when on the RMA form and a letter I enclosed specificly stated there was no data recovered because the card never worked.
Now they say it has been escilated to the next level, which means it will be another 2 weeks until someone finds out what is going on if I am lucky:(

I sent mine in early in July and received it in 14 days or so. I remember being surprised that I got it back before my vacation - I had purchased another card as a backup.

Sprinkles - Lately I hear of many problems with Lexar CF cards. If you are thinking of
oneother brand go Sandisk IMHO. I have sveral Sandisk CF and untill now had no
problem what so ever. And I use them alot. Good luck.

thanks salleke! i'm thinking of either sandisk (good reputation) or kingston (lifetime warranty). will probably keep my lexar as a backup (if thats a good idea) if i decide to get a new card.

I went and got a SanDisk Ultra II 1g when my Lexar gave out. Have had 0 problems with it and it was cheap at 58.00 on e-bay.

Today Customer Support called me, the guy said he rather call than email, He said he would "TRY" to get them to expidite my return...blah...blah..blah I won't hold my breath.
I told him I didn't want to shoot the messenger, but I had a total change of mind about Lexar. I almost bought a Lexar jump drive, but decided on the Kingston instead and the same will hold true for any other drives I may need.

I have two Sandisk Ultra II 512's. If I remember right I thought these had a lifetime warrenty as well... but I'm not positive  I am very pleased with them.
