Hi, what do you all think of this one? Comments on composition, color saturation and any other aspects are welcome.

5D, 16-35mm f/2.8 @ 20mm/f11, tripod, 6-shot HDR with -1.67 to +1.67 exposure processed in Photomatix.

Alex, I was just there myself in August. Your composition is fine, but for my tastes, the saturation and contrast are overdone. Sorry.

Yes, nice photo but maybe just a little less saturation.

I really like it. I know the rocks there are very red and of course HDR is going amplify the colors a bit, therefore, I think it's great work. It's a great HDR shot.

I don't mind the color as is.
Love most the texture in the left foreground rock and the swirling translucent water center and right.

I was just there in August too. (Stayed in St. Mary campground.)

I like the version just as you posted it. I think it works that the colors are a little surreal.

Thanks, everyone. I too have mixed feelings about the color saturation. I'll work on a slightly less saturated version when I get a chance and see how that turns out.

I wouldn't say the photo is over-saturated. That's going a bit too far. It's just the red/oranges in the photo look unnatural, but the other colours are fine. In fact I think the greens/yellows could be saturated even more.

The composition is fine, but if you hadn't cut off the left side of the pool I think it would have been stronger.

As far as the contrast goes, I personally like to have deep shadows in my photos so I would have deepened the blacks in many areas of the rocks.

Great photo if you take out the HDR. Wonderful composition and blur.
