I mainly photograph high school senior but had a recent enquiry for engagement pictures. Keep in mind I DON'T photograph weddings. I start my engagement package in the area of where my middle senior portrait package prices are set.

I quoted the client the starting Engagement package.....
$100 session fee with a $350 min order on prints. That includes 1 hour in the studio and 1 hour outside. I don't do this for a living but I try and keep my rates close to those who do this for a living.

So what are your engagment picture package prices?

Depends on a couple different things.. if it's just the engagement shoot $275 base fee with CD/Prints extra... if they're booking a wedding most of my packages include it, if they don't select one of them they can add on for $100, includes low-res CD.

Weather they book a wedding or not why would you give them a cd of the session. You're just giving away money. BTW, I like your website who designed it?

I give it to them because it's priced into my packages... just as most do with albums, not everything has to be ala carte. And thanks on the website, I designed it.. the new design that I'm working on right now will go live this weekend, completely redone.
