OK. Further to my Nikon 200-400 post, which I have put on hold due to a) Price and b) Not all users are happy with sharpness, especially when focussing long.
So. The Sigma 120-300 f2.8? Again, I would like a zoom. Again I need f2.8 and would prefer that it take at least a 1.4TC and remain sharp. But again there are some scathing reviews out there, from soft copies to crap AF to front or back focussing issues depending on focal length....I myself am no fan of HSM, but maybe I got unlucky becasue so many people love it? Is it worth the money or should I learn to remove TCs faster and more quietly? Yes my Canon 300 2.8 IS is impossibly sharp, but I cant zoom
Example, I want a close up and then a family shot...damn, one or the other...
