Showing Historam on 5D MKII Live View

Hi - I can't seem to get live view to show the histogram? Ive had a look at the manual but that didnt help either. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks

On my 1Ds MkIII, all ya do is put it in Live View and cycle through the Info Button until you find what you want.

indeed, I did try that but no luck - I wonder if I have changed something in the Live View menu?

something must be out of sorts with you set up, cycling through the Info Button should work.

I worked it out - finally - in the menu you have to be set for STILLS ONLY. Anything else and you don't get the histogram.....Hope someone else finds this useful!

Starnger and stranger - you're right I can do it on STILLS+MOVIE...wonder what happened!

On the 7D, which ergonomically is better for movie/live view than previous cameras, the histogram disappears if you switch over to video.
In live view, the histogram only shows if you have selected to show the exposure simulation, not otherwise.
