Any way to carry a tripod on a Tamrac Adventure 9 pack?

I have this pack, and I love it with one big exception. I can't carry my tripod with it.

Does anyone know of a way to rig it so that you can carry a tripod using this pack?

Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) carries elastic velcro lashing straps.

similiar to this http://www.ems.com …dex.jsp?product​Id=3664487 (external link) but w/ velcro and not buckles.

I use these longer 1' red ones to strap my tripod to my domke bag.
Works wonderfuly and even allows access into the bag b/c the elastic lets it pull out of the way.

I'll get the name when I get home.
