this my first post, anybody can give me some pointers? what i did wrong? how can i improve? thanks. i think 1st one is underexposed?

They both look underexposed, there is no detail in her hair at all. I think it would also be good to get the rest of the dress in the photo.

Also, in the first one it looks like the flash was pointed directly at her which caused a shadow on the wall behind her. Get the flash off camera or bounce it to reduce this effect.

My eyes keep getting drawn to the shadowing in the BG on the 1st one and the 2nd the wrinkles... Both women are very pretty tho

Thanks I was bouncing my flash, but there were a lot of flash from other photo. Also have 1 strobe on the left. Yet I got all of this shadows. Any pointers on the shadows? Thanks again
