Photo Sharing Threads Over Black?

Dear Pekka et al...

I suppose it's just not something that could be easily done but I was looking at an image that's posted both here and on FM and I have to say it shows better on the darker page background at FM.

Any possibility that the backgrounds on the photo sharing threads here on POTN could be black or dark grey?

Just wondering aloud.

Jay (and mods),

I know that some forums give you the option to change the theme of the forum. I agree that when looking at images, a darker background is my preference, too. Maybe the new forum software will have this option.

I'll have to agree. I've tried different skins over on pbase and chose black because it looks far better than white or lighter colors. Lighter colors compete, black pulls the eyes to the image.

Agree that black is a good choice for background. However it will not change while vbulletin is still in use here. I don't know but Pekka migth already have something planned in this area in the new software.
