Although I have nothing to post at this time, I will soon attempt to capture the Reno air races next month. I have never tried to shoot such fast moving objects. Is it as hard as it looks???

Marauder61 took a shot that wasn't dead nuts sharp! You funny, Guy... Reno also creates some interesting challenges like shooting for five or more days in a row with a big telephoto lens for eight hours + each day. Last year the week started out with temps in the 90's Friday was a little cooler but very windy, Sunday the temps were only in the 40's and on Monday it snowed. You also have to deal with late night hanger parties and BBQ's and then getting a wakeup call at 7am By one of the Teams warming up there 500+mph Mustang.... It's rough...HAHAHAHAHAHA, and top of all that I was still using my Rebal POS (kidding it's a good camera). My photo galleries

When you go you will see three types of races in Unlimited. There is nothing like the race for the "gold". You will enjoy it. You can shoot from the pits or the north end by the static A/C out on the point.

Ted Thunderbirds are already back in the air. They will fly this weekend. Now the Snowbirds just lost a plane, pilot ejected safely. Don't know if they will be down for awhile. 7D, 5D MKIII, 17-40 f/4L, 24-70 f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 300 f/2.8L IS, 500 f/4L IS, 1.4xII, 2.0xII
