Oh wow! Very nice.

Some of these don't seem very sharp though, the one of her on the train is great, but she doesn't appear to be entirely in focus, which lens(es) did you shoot these with?

The close up of her would be fantastic if it wasn't tilted, maybe other people like this effect, but I'm not a big fan.

I love the colors you did in the post production, but it looks like you might have hit the recovery slider a bit too hard, there's a weird grey thing going on in the highlights.

Nice shots overall though!

I agree, they don't look all that sharp... not sure what was going on, but I think it has to do with shooting wide open... I was using the 24-70 @ 2.8... ISO 640 1/800 shutter... typically you might think that is too fast, but she doesn't sit still very long at all..

As for the tilt, I'm with you, not really a fan unless it is done for including the entire subject... my wife has been asking me to do some for dramatic effect, so I obliged.

yah, I may have done too much recovery, still trying to work on when that begins to introduce more bad that it gets rid of...

I like the first two. The color setting is great.

Looks like they were shot with a 24-70.

To me, she looks blue in most of the pictures. While I like some of the overall colors of the photos, I would probably mask some of it to bring her skin color back in. Her face also appears underexposed in several.

While I'm usually a fan of flare, I don;t find it appealing here. It has caused a huge lack of contrast that makes the pics look very hazy and dull. I would think that, with her being three and most likely very energetic, that you would want to portray her with more energy. These almost appear ghost-like because of the blue skin tones and hazy washed out look.

I'm also not a tilt fan.

1 & 2 ar great. I question your placement of a 3 yr in settings that are somewhat dangerous should she get the idea to go there on her own. Sure, I know it's way out there, but I used to be a safety engineer and the craziest things can happen.

I appreciate all the comments and criticisms (most of them very accurate)...
I think I will try to re-process these and mask her off from the edits on the rest of the image... I guess I was worried about her "sticking out like a sore thumb" but I will give it a shot.

As far as the safety of the shoot... Mom was just out of frame, and if she wanted to wander to the tracks herself she'll need her driver's license first, since we don't live close at all. But I do see your point. Thanks for the comments.

I really like the framing/crop of 1. I think a slight amount of nudging in terms of post-processing would make it a frameworthy image, imo.

Thanks for your comments... I assume you are talking about masking her off a bit to protect her skin coloring... I've been waiting to find the "right" first image of mine to enlarge and frame, this is definitely a contender, but I am also biased to the subject.
