I am really wanting to get into medium format film photography, and i am wondering if the outfit is worth the price:

this is what the craigslist entails:

Mamiya 645 with 80mm 2.8 Lens, with Prism viewfinder.
Comes with 120 and 220 back.
Minolta light meter.
Throw in some film.

is this worth $300???

I used to own one of these, they are great cameras. $300.00 heck yes! The photos show a clean body and no abuse. Keep in mind these are inserts, not true interchangeable backs. Flash sync. is a 60th /sec.
You should be able to pick up lenses for a good price.
If you get this you will probly want a dark room, I have a 23c and stuff........oops wrong thread.

The porro prism viewfinder is worth $300 by its self, everything else is gravy. I still have a dichroic Chromega enlarger with 120/220 film carrier and 35mm carriers. I just got my Yashica Mat 124 out and dusted it off just in case I can locate some 120 or 220 film. Have fun with an excellent medium format camera.

Canon 60D,18-55mm,55-250mm,50mm compact macro, AF ext tubes. Sigma 8-16mm uwa, 18-250mm, 85mm F1.4, 150-500mm
