My wife broke out the change jar the other day to see what our pockets have added up to over the last couple of months (enough for a 50mm 1.4!!) and she had the quarters stacked in 1 dollar incriments, so I took some photos

I have enjoyed looking at these. I prefer the grouping in the first shot i.e. stacked and just slid together, not arranged. Although, I would rather see the coins come all the way to the bottom and fill the frame.
Something about the lines and the order of the second one makes me nervous. (I have obsessive tendensies and I want to turn them all heads or tails up and face them in the same direction...but I can't...so I don't want to look at it. ;) )
I like the DOF idea in the third as well. Nice shots, thanks for sharing! :)

A nice wide angle would have been great.

Like the 1st, but it's a bit dark. On the 3rd I think the focus might be a coin more to the front. Nice shots, and enjoy the 50/1.4 ;)
