Q. When is a USB cable not a USB cable?

A. When it's a 50c cheapy from Ebay.

How hard can it be? It's only 4 wires. I spent 2 hours last night trying to 'install' a USB hub on Win7. Plug in the cable, plug in the hub. Not recognised. 2 hours of faffing later plug in hub to PC and it's recognised instantly. Plug in cable, plug in hub, not recognised. Use different cable, instantly recognised!!! Discard old cable. vmad

Thats ok my main PC has decided to start the "Blue screen of death" before that it was the win7 restore screen. Put in another HDD and tryed to rebuild but the BSoD wont let me. Under warrenty but be intrested to see what issue is.

Found out my new laptop has 2 seperate 500gb HDDs. So all my PC's at home and work are now 64bit OS
