My first digital, an 'N' one had an articulated screen. Fantastic to use and the fact it folds in means there is no messy nose grease. I dunno why Canon only puts it on the 700D in the slr range.

I took sum pics today:

I voted on Thursday instead. :)

what do you guys think of the 7Dmk2, any good?

I think while the canon sensors aren't the market leaders I think that the differences in what people are judging sensors on aren't and should be deal breakers.

I think the camera is quite nice, I would have like to seen an articulated screen (I don't care about touch) but apart from that if I was after a APS-C size sensor camera I would go for this.

The AF system looks top notch.

Looks quite nice.
I have the 7D I
Nothing that inspires me to go out and replace my camera immediately.
As I do mostly sports, it would suit my needs well, though I was hoping for a larger sensor. On the other hand, the crop factor is good for sports and wildlige as it gives more reach.

Liking the warm weather finally. We moved to NZ right at the end of the English winter, so it has been 12 months without summer for us.

Went out to Sharplin Falls last week -- quite otherworldly to be in such a lush environment.

Love those Fuzz.

The blossom one is particularly nice.. particularly as we are going into winter here.

I like the processing on this one... nice!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Thank you for the comments. I haven't done much nature/landscape photography, but loving the opportunities here. Definitely looking forward to the summer. I'm okay with mild summers, with temps in the mid to high 20's. Anything above 30 feels too hot -- ironic since I grew up in the tropics.

Went for a walk around town last weekend. It was nice to have some cloudy weather and avoid harsh shadows.
