nicely put! ;)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Nice pics Mark

are these single images ? ie. no focus stacking etc ?

EDIT ... was just realising .... seeing your first image, the bumblebee, we don't see them in Australia ( well not anywhere I have been / lived over here)
such a common sight in NZ

Dave

Thanks Dave,

all the photos are just taken as they are. The subject never stays in one spot long enough to do anything like focus stacking. Most of the time I even use AF. I did try manual focus but I was never quick enough. and I would also move in the wrong direction.

the 6D does have some issues with lenses focusing from extreme close to far away and sometimes miss focus. Not to sure what's causing that.

I had taken 661 photos that day and the number of out of focus or completely missed the subject outweigh the decent photos. I don't think I would try it with film.

given to me by my mother. About one year later she realised that I had taught myself to take some ok images, so she took it back. I remember negs as big as post cards and of course it was auto nothing, one even had to cock the shutter. I also seem to remeber it was an extremely expensive thing to run, I never did any dark room work.

Have fun :)

and one from 2008 taken on the 400D w/kit lens, Nchant was here recently, the Catlins. I have never been able to process this pic in the way I would like but this version has done it, so cudos I guess to modern technology, I have been able to save a previously almost unusable shot.

You are faced with this scene as you come over a hill, one minute you are driving through bush and farmland, then suddenly, this is in front of you.
