Well ScottNZ after we talked about it over 6 years ago I got to Mangawhai Heads ............. Tide was out so got a good look around but sun was early afternoon so a scouting trip.
Add to the fact I broke my left foot beginning of november and its still not 100% I had to take it easy

Hope all are safe and had good xmas.

Happy Christmas from sunny Wellington. (nil photos worth posting taken today)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

So 2 days later another trip. Whananaki North heads. Stayed over night with youngest daughter .... our first camping trip :)

All for a swim and snorkle at this spot. High tide best time .... about 15ft deep at the sandy bottom .... couple fish swimming around. low tide all thats left is the sandy area. Just becomes a rock pool ......

3 hrs drive from Auckland

I have advanced emphysema, 3 months ago I bought an electric armchair on wheels that can carry my oxygen bottle and a couple of weeks ago a van with a hoist to put my electric buggy in. Teething problems abounded but finally everything came together and worked almost as planned. So my first day out was downtown Auckland, a place I have not been to for years because I can not walk very far. So I present some shots from Auckland, this series not so much about what a great photographer I am not, but about what a great day it was, and hopefully some interesting pics of my great city for those who have not seen it.

Well last day of 2015 spent at Goat Is ........ day started early to get out of auckland so there and all ready by 9am......... By 10 the beach was filling up fast.
Day turned for worst when comming back to shore, wave dumped me on my lower back on top of rock, so very sore and brused. After that was time to come home. Will take a few days to come right ..........

BUT I took a photo :)

Cell phone pic ...............

Next trip Fletchers bay at top of Coromamdel .... camping with eldest daughter and check out the pinnical rock formation at end. So hope weather good Mon-Tues
