Talking of GAS borrowed some gear from canon last week, 5dsr, 11-24 and 35L mk2.

wow that 3L is stunning! looks so boring, dull lens.

but the images.. wowzers...

Might have been an expensive decision.

I borrowed that same lens from Canon the week before you Rob and yes, friggin amazing! Took it down with us to Queenstown and all the images were wowsers!

I even used it on my film EOS and the results were equally amazing. I am intending on buying one late this year, just deciding if I should pay the premium and buy here or buy overseas while we are travelling around.

Also, a bit of a plug: we are selling a couple of 5D Mark3's to fund a trip so get in touch if you are interested in one. Hopefully the new one is out later this year before wedding season begins so we don't have to replace them with Mark 3's.

I have taken my 6D and 24-105 lens to Canon for tune up and matching up. Then I will be able to instruct the camera as to what I want and it will go out and do it all :):lol:

Just an EOS 5. I'm hoping to pick up an EOS with better AF though if anyone has any suggestions?

Yup, been doing my research and it seems like the Eos 3 is the better option. The Eos 5 is good, but the AF is a bit harder to work with.
