I guess I'm out of "GAS" ..... Buy a new body then all lens have to be updated, speedlights, etc. There is nothing out there that can replace what I have now. Havnt even used a 100k clicks yet.
Did see a 1Dsmk3 for 2k on trademe a while back.........

Most photos are just snaps on my cell phone these days........

compared to what it used to cost using film...
do the sums based on a rather conservative $5 per roll of film (1983), and another $5 for processing, and it's easily $2.40 per shot even before you print anything.
Divide camera cost by the number of shots taken and it's come down to a very reasonable figure. Even spend $15k on gear and take 80,000 shots is less than 20c per shot.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Been waiting for the arrival of the 5D4, not because I *need* it, but our 5D3's are workhorses and two are already past 150,000 clicks (guaranteed shutter life). Probably still have plenty of life left but when the work requires absolute faith and reliability in our gear, we have to replace them.

I would have just replaced them with 5D3's for the upcoming wedding season but I'll wait til mid-next year though because of the price.

I had to look up what ITIL meant. Now that I have found out, and after looking at the photo course content, I think I will quietly retire to my new hobby... tiddleywinks.

Soo easy to use and the results are way better than what i'm getting from the Hassy or the EOS5. I still need to understand how to use the AF and eye control though, but the rest of the controls are so familiar.

Highly recommended. Specially if you want to use your EF glass.
