It was taken just north of Clinton (south of Balclutha) some years ago. In that part of the country you often get brightish days but grey and cloudy skies. But yeah I think I meant to crop a bit and forgot to. I am not up to play with replaceing skies. Also however, I did not use it in the years back because my processing skills, and software were not up to even that basic task so it is all getting better, not in leaps and bounds maybe but at least in inches and millimetres :)

want to incorperate both ........ more artistic with movement within the landscape. Rather than what I used to do.

Oh I plan too, I would like to get the 6Dmk2 but the rumors might say it could be mirrorless and that I am not to sure on.

However when I say that I would like to take a fuji xt2, not because it's mirrorless but because it's got old fashion dials on it.

either way I plan on taking the odd photograph or two.

The only problem I have figured out yet is how to get the photos on the cloud.

Maybe an iphone should be a consideration? As for the cloud, it took me ages to work out how to stop pics going there :p but I understand what you are saying. I like external dials also, wish they were still all on the lens

I am wondering on a 70-200 and IS. Do I go for the f4 no IS or spend more and get the f4 IS or spend around the same and get the f2.8 no IS. My feeling is with the way the 6D performs at higher ISO it practically makes IS redundant to get shutter speed up past the reciprical length. Any comments? Yeah I know Santa is coming to most houses (not mine I was really norty this yr and bought a new old ride) but your thoughts would be well and truly considered. Thanks.

this is always a hard one. stopping down is always going to be better than using IS and has you have stated the low noise on the 6D is quite good.
