some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

"without them knowing" ........tell him to buy a 600mm lens ......50mm is great for portraits but not if you want to do it his way :)

I really like that one! The colour and light is lovely. Nicely done.

And the horizon is straight too ;)

I dug my camera out and went out to take some photos this weekend for the first time in I don't know how long. May post something when I get home and look at them on a bigger screen. I have decided it is time to revive my photography after many years of inaction.

A few from over the weekend at Snells Beach:

IMAGE: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a310/scotttnz/P1060649_zpsa9reppcn.jpg

All taken with my old Panasonic GX1, and the much maligned 14-42 power zoom pancake lens. It does a decent enough job at static landscapes, but the keeper rate for anything that moves is pretty bad. The whole setup fits in my back pocket, which is what attracted me to micro 4/3.

Nothing too amazing, but I'm happy enough with the results considering the basic gear, lack of practice, a really harsh lighting conditions.
