Huge and (relatively) slow lenses, small sensor (for mf), and really not much I couldnt do with my current gear. Still.... I don't know. it's still larger than a FF sensor. You are going to get more bigger pictures and be able to print larger photos. Mark

How's the M5? I bought the M3 and haven't been too disappointed but I miss having a wired/wireless remote.

Please log in to see the good quality stuff. seriously, you can consider the f/3.5-6.3 as slow, but in the big scheme of things that's not what these cameras/lenses were built to compete with. They are great for lightweight, low bulk packages where you would carry one around all day, whereas you'd more often leave the big guns at home (and miss whatever shots because you don't have a camera) I'm liking it for what it is, rather than comparing it with what other cameras do better. Have posted some shots in the "Canon EOS M5- Share your pictures, thoughts, loves, concerns...." thread recently but have put some sample 18-150mm sooc jpegs here some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

scotttnz "tick, tick, tick, tick......" More info | Which is why I like m 4/3. Small cameras (although some of them aren't that small) AND small lenses. There is a huge range of native lenses, including relatively tiny, high quality, f2.8 zooms. Obviously there are compromises involved, but it works for me. Having said that, if the M5 had been around a few years ago, I might have stuck with Canon. But they have only just started taking mirrorless seriously. Makes sense if you want to keep an SLR and mirrorless, to be able to share lenses.
