can't shoot anything with the M5 'cos I've lost the charger....

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

it is a shame, I think you should upgrade :)

I agree......but given that I just upgraded my other camera, Mrs Scotttnz might have something to say about that....

No, that's way to old for the scrap heap. If you are lucky you might be able to talk a museum to take it off your hands ;-)a

You do know the best way to get a replacement charger is to buy a new camera aye?

Memo to self "don't let stuff build up"

2 weeks been on a home and work cleaning spre ....... last job sort through 100's of cds and dvd ........ Found work photos dated back to 2003, home photos 2001. Lost 1 photo cant find the negative and I even have my parents wedding on 8mm roll of movie film. Know Idea how to get that off. I have our wedding vido on vhs that I must sort soon.

Not short of HDD storage ..... big clean up at work. Have 1 IBM X3400 and 1 IBM X3500 servers and a pile of HDDs 320gig and 500gig. Dell SAN with 12 320 2.5 SAS disks and NAS with 4 2TB HDD's

Had to clean up all my HDD's and dump on to NAS and sort then copy to other HDD's.

The funny thing is you never forget the photos you lost due to bad backup practises.

interestingly, the IR converted camera isn't a thermal imaging machine that most folks imagine. Plus it's still at the museum.
I have found the M5 charger though, so with this weeks' summery conditions I might go out & shoot something.
(put 7,070 shots on the 1D3 in the name of science on Sunday, it needs a rest)

I suspect the operater thinks he needs a rest.
I damaged myself on Friday, made some new holes, lost my charger to me so have been resting :D For those interested, fell off a mobility scooter and sat on the side of a road waiting for help for 4 hrs in the sun sun sun on Friday after noon. Scooter eventually came home on a huge flat deck vehicle rescue truck with me in front, and no, the 6D does not take fotos all by itself, so no photographic evidence. I am still recuperating :( For those not interested, never mind, you got it anyway! ;)

See yas! :D

the operator didn't do any work! someone was asking how many shots on a full charge, so I put the remote cord on it & locked the button so it fired continuously...

sorry to hear that, I hope you are doing better.

I am sure the 6D was begging to be used :)
