I would have been more happer with the 6D if the all the autopoints was cross type. I find as I am getting older and I now wear glasses. So I am relying on the AF points more.

The film camera 3D has better AF than the 6D. (BTW this camera is very nice to use)

I am waiting to see what canon does with the mirrorless format.

But I have a big shopping list,

in no order, (in other words, how they come out of the brain)

A new camera,
medium format film camera
carbon fibre tripod,
NAS (don't have one)
graphics cards (I do some gaming and the current card is really old)
which could lead to a computer upgrade
stand up desk,

well ok its not that big.

I too have difficulty focussing because of my eyesight. I now have Canon M5 which has focus peaking, ad I am loving using old manual lenses on it, with adapters. Some great bokeh posible - I enjoy trying for that sometimes, but not everyone does, of course.

Olympus M1 MkII, Olympus M5 MkIII: Lenses covering 8 - 300mm
Canon M5: A variety of Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, prime and zoom lenses, Samyang fisheye, 2 lovely Minolta MD, just for fun a Helios 44-2 58m - and adapters.

Thanks team. It’s Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The towers look particularly nice at night, but unfortunately I was unable to get out with the camera after dark, I only had a few hours free this afternoon. I managed an iPhone shot on my way past the other night though...

On the way to the airport now for the long trip home. I have to say that traveling for work isn’t as glamorous as it sounds.

Reminds me of Shanghai at night

I just stumbled on this thread this evening while idly looking at POTN, and noticing a thread in RTAT. Be interesting to see other's takes on NZ :-)

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

I see you have a Sony Rob, are you switching, or sharing. I thought you were a Canon man for some reason ...

Looks amazing! Weather sealed got to be a bonus for landscape. But the price is astronomic to me :-). But if you keep it ten years then I guess it works out

Do you mean you want the tilt screen, or dislike it? I don't know the 5Ds at all. I really liked the articulating screen on the 70D, but the M5 only has tilt.

Moving to another system seems to have all sorts of potholes in the road.

I used to go to a website NZ photographers, called, I thought hellophoto.co.nz but it seems to be selling clothing.

Have I got the name wrong , or has it closed down. I know the last few times I went there, it was very, very quiet, after previously being busy.

I remember them - got sold off to D-Photo and thereafter abandoned... the spammers took over so they shut it down rather than clean it up.
