roseyposey, I have mixed feelings about the post processing but I fully get what you are saying about been at a spot on bright sunny days and how to make the shot look great. I use a 10 stopper but find with water it always comes out like mist around the rocks. I will try out your idea on B&W conversion on a couple and see how they turn out.

The post does have that vintage look to it but need to be cooler I think and scratches and noise added

Yes I see what you mean .. I don't like adding scratches and noise - should probably try a modern version I guess :-)

I often take several shots at differnt exposure lenghts, then choose the one I like best. Think I needed a CPL as well, but don't have one to fit the EF-M lens ..... yet :-)

Canon EOS 70D: added a Canon M5: A mixture of Canon, Sigma, Tamron and Tokina prime and zoom lenses, a Samyang fisheye, and just for fun a couple of Helios 44-2 58m..

a more modern take, slightly different image, as the other seems to have disappeared of LR - very weird. Unless I accidentally deleted it when cleaning up. Still have the card though.

Thank you.

The road between there and about a few kms back was horrendous. There has been subsidence, slips, and general deterioration. I was surprised to find myself really nervous driving it. I crawled along at less than the prescribed 30km, while others ploughed on at speeds I thought frightening in the circumstance.

Re edit with a crop from Saturday. Apart from the murkiness of the water, I quite like it.

Pondering on the Leica SL (Typ 601)... only 24 MP, not that much more than the trusty Lumix ;)
