Well I'm certainly enjoying :-) Would have loved to have a wide angle though, as some of the cars so close together I couldn't get far enough back with 14 - 140. I've still got some GAS - just need to accumulate some $$$

Forgot about the moon! :-)

But I need a shooting mate as I am too nervous to go out in the the dark myself. Even although I am retirement age, and a bit frumpy, I don't think anyone is safe these days.

I stepped out my door (about as far as I can walk), caught my breath, shot over the neighbour's roof and under the palm adjoining the two properties. The dense black roof has been cropped out and I finished up with these proportions because I like the way the diagaonals balance one another. Processed in ACDSee.

OK I'll try remember to look tomorrow night when they're saying it's happening again.

Another moon from a long time ago, shot taken 18/12/2008 12:55:32 am. Canon 400D with mighty EF 75-300 f4.5-5-6. No image stabilisation and again shot out my back door, but this time Clinton, South Island rather than Milford Auckland. I do hope you like 'cos I do, after all this time. Again processed in ACDSee Oh yes this is an actual 100 percent crop.

Probably too much cheese and processed at nite, could be brighter too.
