This can't have been in NZ, somewhere in the UK?

spot on - Duxford Flying Legends... :-)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

So Sony making big leaps, never knew but the Fuji GFX series cameras have Sony sensors. Going to be interesting to see how Canon responds and the Olympics next year I think there will be some interesting developments esp in their mirrorless range.

Duncan no issues with your repair on your 100-400?

looks pretty dry!

It is Clinton. The soil there is not easy to farm. It has a very short time between muddy bog (it's incredible, I got a 4wd stuck in my flat backyard, it suddenly just sank up to its hubs), workable and set like concrete. I was tilling, preparing for grass sowing and that soil was on the verge of fine and crumbly. Very hot weather, you can see my Mitsi with the doors open, the seats used to get too hot to sit on and the air was super heated and unbreathable for me. The tractor cab had a heater that could not be turned off, but you could lift the doors off the hinges.

Doesn't seem to be any difference now that the tightening mechanism has been removed. For the UK airshow I decided to hire a lens over there rather than lug the lump around the world for a few weeks and only really use it the one weekend. 48 pounds for a weekend hire of a 100-400mm MK II was quite reasonable I thought.
I did take the 1.4x TC with me and good job too as the UK airshows have stricter regulations on how close they can fly to the crowd so a lot of the aircraft were a long way away. Must say I think the MK II feels heavier.

Another from our family West Coast roadie. Lake Matheson - it was a dreary day but a fun family walk around the lake. With this image I tried a 5 exposure bracket merged using Affinity Photo on iPad Pro..

Thoughts or suggestions?
