The wekas are off to Milford sound, Te Anau, Queenstown, Wanaka and Mt Cook.

Hard to believe its only taken 15 yrs to get there.

I believe I have spotted you down south on more than 1 occasion.... 2006 this time, not sure what you had done but you were locked up here....

Something different for me - my sister and bro-in-law were visiting from Martinborough, and shouted me a ticket to the Hurricanes Sunvolves game.

Sunwolves started well, scoring from kick off, then the Hurricanes scored ten tries.

Another "tog", with some nice looking gear.

I have bought a new camera. She is a dandy wee thing, very handy, no view finder mirrorless, and I can do all sorts of other things with it also, like send messages, talk to people, look at POTN :), and watch movies among other things. I have a feeling it can talk to my hearing aids as well but not certain on that. It is an Oppo A5 and while I bought it on the 'net I read a number of reviews and they all commented that the sound was good, which is why I chose it, and the price was not stratospheric. Due to arrive in a couple of days from a large, NZ retailer whom I have dealt with before quite happily.

I am shifting cell supplier as well, on prepay but the new provider supplies twice as much for half the price of my old one.

I like that - would probably crop the light bit off the top but a lovely shot!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Took a couple of shots of this fine Mk II Jag, one with a chap just behind the lefthandside, another with an awful reflection of a bloke with striped teeshirt in the drivers door.
Here is a blend of the two:

Time to remember the CP. Until you mention it I don't see anything untoward, hard to get perfect car shots in those conditions. I used to hate doing Hot Rod shows.
