GKPE 8, Yet more NZ ramblings from some flightless Kiwis.

I spent the entire day in the office! very quiet there on my own

So we need the rain to fill our dams, but change wind direction so I can keep on painting

Well seems I still have a job be it reduced hrs to cover the govt wage amount, but lets hope we back to normal in 2 weeks time and this is sorted.
Going to be a great time at end of May for visiting all those sites in South Is with out 1000s of tourists.

Will also be the deciding factor temp wise if I could live down there .......Ive always live near a beach

May is spring time in the south, coldest is August/September.

This is from a couple of years ago when I went down to work on the old mans house before he moved into the rest home.....brrrrrr

Its feeling it ........ all I know is I've had enough of Auckland, my dream rivers lakes snow capped mountains. Jobs is an issue but horticulture work around Roxburgh may solve an issue as I just want a relaxed life style now with quite surrounds.

May is Autumn in the south, same as Auckland, spring comes after September or there abouts.

No work in Winter in Roxborough, possibly some in Queenstown with high rents, just like Auckland but has snow etc..

Be grape and stone fruit pruning etc.

some reminiscing, early after noon followed by 8 hrs later.

same day as previous pics, I was amazed with how green the grass was under the snow, it fair glowed when seen from a distance

I hope everyone here is doing OK. It’s Easter Sunday and I’m saying “hopefully just over a week to go” - it somehow sounds shorter...

I’m slowly getting back into photography - hobbies wax and wane I guess!

I have a single strobe and a black backdrop - I think I’ll spend the last week having a play at single light headshots (my poor kids don’t know what they’re in for!)

I didn't think we had enough moisture lately to get those kind of flowers

Well just about over painting and just about finished .......

Have spent time learning luminosity masking and blending so now I just need to get out and get some new photos
