Looking good Pete.

Amazing that this mini revival was triggered by a bit of new gear... go figure!!

I might actually use my camera this weekend, heading down to Tongariro to do the 42nd Traverse this weekend and maybe have a bit of a play around Tukino Ski Field Road.

So - during lockdown last year I tripped on a tennis ball and fractured my coccyx, so couldn't go to work.

owwww... I won't pretend to know what that is, but sounds painful. Hope you're mended now!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Like! especially the viewpoint - and the fact that you didn't get run over in the process...

Yes I was extra careful with this shot, also made sure Jo wasn't looking when I did it or she would have had a heart attack!

Another day at work ..... another day short staffed!! Haven't worked a fully staffed shift since before Christmas. Heaven help us if we get a covid 19 break out!

A beer to relax while watching the cricket. Minolta 50 f/2 at f/2, on Olympus M1 MkII.

I have a rule about doubling each cameras megapixals otherwise whats the point :)

Still dont need video, the 5ds dynamic range is crap and blacks are washed out ....... lets see what the high res R5 will be like first

Thanks a hard act to follow, me on the other hand had the same 20MP camera for almost seven years, and then upgraded to (wait for it) another 20MP camera!
