Thanks a hard act to follow, me on the other hand had the same 20MP camera for almost seven years, and then upgraded to (wait for it) another 20MP camera!

it would be another 10 year camera like 1Dsmk3 ....2 lens 100mm-200 and 36-64mm would try and keep my canon gear :)

There are rumors of a high-MP version of the R5 much like the 5DS.

I have a rule about doubling each cameras megapixals otherwise whats the point :)

Still dont need video, the 5ds dynamic range is crap and blacks are washed out ....... lets see what the high res R5 will be like first

Frankly I think you should revisit your anti video stance and see if if it is still valid. Today's cameras can take a single frame from a video and give it to you as a jpeg. Great for wild life shots, easier on the photog and time as well. So you can pull for example, a sea bird catching a fish, a butterfly coming out of her chrysalis, a dolphin jumping etc, all much easier than on a still only.

I must look into how to do that.

You can even take a picture (series) before you hit the shutter button! ;)

Oh maybe not, you can do it on the G9, not sure about the Olly.

See some posts. I thought everyone had left and gone home.

If I was you, I would just ignore the video feature. All cameras come with them and they aren't going away any time soon.

I still got my 6D but use it less and less. Thinking of going to Sony :)

I have recently subscribed to some Facebook photography groups, lots of photo sharing, one thing I have noticed though is people horizons, so many people share images with dodgy horizons, how hard is it to take a shot with a level horizon, heck Lightroom even has an quite reliable auto tool for it!

In the majority of instances I doubt it's an artist thing.
