Very nice, looks like an ad on tv. Where they pile into the Holden only to find the wharf has rotted away. Different time of day and year of course. Possibly is the same place.

It's actually on the Kapiti Coast just north of Paraparaumu .... staying for a couple of nights. Lovely place!

Well been close to 6 months since last photo trip. Decided to take my wifes new car out for a test run to Port Waikato. Handles the sand dunes well then went for long dive along Karioitahi Beach and watched sun go down while eating hot pizza.

Photos not my greatest but as my wife said "all life issues disappear out here"

Perfect for getting stuck...... get the sprinkler running under the car for a while to wash off the salt

Trolling time (it is April 1st tomorrow after all!), posting this complete pile of BS on the New Zealand Photography Group Facebook group tomorrow, will see if anyone falls for it  Feel free to jump in if you are on the group, please don't spoil it though!

I was playing around with the new Super Resolution feature in the latest version of Adobe Camera RAW (v13.2) last night and I wondered what would happen if you ran the Super Resolution across an image multiple times. I was not sure what to expect but definitely not what I got!
The image above is a moon shot I took recently, the red box is blown up to 100% in the top right, the bottom right image is after running the Super Resolution in ADR multiple times, the results are nothing short of amazing!
My best guess for how it managed to achieve this, effectively creating detail that didn’t exist in the original image was due to how the feature was created. Super Resolution is a new AI based machine learning feature. Part of its development was training in on real images and it must have recognised the image was of the moon and filled in the missing detail based on its training images (which must have included high resolution images of the moon).
You can have a play yourself, you have to open an image in ADR (the feature isn’t in Lightroom yet), which you can do by browsing in Adobe Bridge.
Here is a link with more information on it’d development:

Very cool - did you need to use one of the new Uranium-core CPU's to process the image?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)
