Yep, safe in Auckland for another 3 days, then going to be safe in Tauranga.... What about you? The Waikato is looking very green for this time of year.

Hey Tony - things change - and sometimes not for the better. I'll be over there in April - originally planned to go to Otago for the autumn colours and reminisce my childhood in that area - but Air New Zealand cancelled my flight and stuffed those plans up - so now the flying kangaroo will deliver me and bring me back. The furthest south will be Christchurch and then Wellington, Rotorua and Auckland. 2 to 3 days in each location catching up with friends and family. I'm an old man now, Tony, and I don't know if I'll make it over there again so it's kind of a farewell tour.

Off to Hong Kong in a couple of days for a lifelong friends funeral - I have never been to HK but I doubt I'll get any pictures - who knows :)

I'm still working 40 hours a week - it's expensive keeping an Aussie wife :)

I had to put on reading glasses to read your message :(

We are all old men now but hoping most of us are wiser :)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Great - I'll be in Rotorua in April (at Easter) and will have picked up the 5D3 a few days earlier so I'll be looking for something to shoot

back from a weekend in the Naki

Think time has come to sell up most of my Canon gear. Fuji GFX has spoilt me for image quality and now the 20-35 f4 is out time to part ways with my canon 16-35 f4 24-105 F4 70-200f2.8 as they not been used. Will keep 1Dsmk3 and 100-400mk2.

Just back from Melbourne - must say the views from apartment were nice, but not sure I'd like to live up there! [floor 28 of a 60-floor building]
