That is very scary looking. Checked out the CNN videos & was pretty shocked!
Amazing that a tsunami can travel at 800 KMH!

If you where surfing on it you would need goggles against the wind!

I hope New Zealand is still there when I arrive on Sunday.

Has any body decided where the BBQ will be in 2 weeks.
I think that Sarah & Aaron hosted at least the last BBQ, so maybe Scott can have a turn... Unless someone organizes a photo model for a shoot in the studio.

Look forward to meeting you guys soon.

I'm sure someone could be arranged if you really wanted to shoot... :)

I don't mind either way. I'm sure everyone will hepl out with food and drink wherever it is held.

Looking through my archive, seems the last time I hosted a GKPE BBQ was in 2006!

Week 2: FAIL!

Been a bit busy this weekend rotary hoeing the front lawn. Raking, leveling, sowing and watering. But I posted 4 photos last week so I'm still ahead. ;)

Naaa.. shees right...
Not sure I'd know how to handle the kiwi models. They might bite.
I'm more used to the German ones where you controll them with a whip & chains!

Cool for cats.
Scott, can you PM me your contact details.
I'll bring along a few beers.. Need to educate myself what is cool or not here now. When I left Steinlager was the cool thing to drink.

You've been living in Germany, you're probably better versed on mental hop-heavy beers than almost anyone! :p

I noticed a warning the other day that we'd reached 80% of our newly-arranged 40Gb allowance. Checked the usual sources and sure enough, a 15MB attachment stuck in the outbox, sending/failing/sending/failing etc.
Chewed thru 8GB/day for four days!

OK, cool. Happy to host, but if you could all help out with some food and drink that would be great. BYO meat and drinks. I'll organise a few salads and things.

I should be home by 5:30pm, so any time after that is fine with me.

If you could let me know who is coming that would be great. Partners and children are welcome (Mine will be there.) And PM me if you need directions.
