In case anyone out of Auckland were wondering, the rest of us did survive the BBQ. We've just run out of things to say.

Thanks for hosting Scott!

ps. Nice to meet you Peter!

I did my best to poison everyone, but it seems that at least one survived. I'll get you next time Aaron!

thanks for having us Scott, great to see a lot of folks again, and the odd newbie.

not sure who took this (Moppie?) but I'd title it "a chillie too far"

Nice, would have been me or Arron looking from that angle.

It was a good BBQ, definitely need to do that sort of thing more often.

Rather than going on photoshoots about a BBQ, or night at the pub once a month?

So long and thanks for all the flash

Hey guys, just a quick heads up on importing things. If you have two packages come into the country on the same day customs adds the values together and if it's over the threshold you pay tax on the total. So if you split your orders to save fees, then have them arrive a few days apart. I learned the hard way, but luckily I get my tax back anyway.

It was a good night, and my house wasn't left looking like a bomb site :)

It's been far to long since we did a GKPE photo trip though. Who's keen? What shall we go shoot?

Photo a week challenge week 4. Not much to post this week, but it is good to put a face to a name.
This is extreme portraiture. ISO 3200, f2.8, 1/80th @ 300mm handheld in poor light.

QUOTED IMAGE

Wohoo. I am a photo a week photo.
Sorta like being the playmate of the month in my opinion!!

For those that aren't there, Pete (As in FlyingPete) brought along some special home grown megga ultra killer super turbo sharp chillis. And he tried a slice of one!

Oooh it is cold and foggy today & I am back to work in Germany.

3 Degrees.
I'll post some photos from the BBQ when I get a round-tuit. I only have some square ones left.. and they don't work! Spent several hours on the trip home sorting and processing photos.. but didn't get up till Friday.

Some very nice photos there. Queenstown is a beautiful area. You can see that the leaves are turning there, so it is a bit cooler than in the North Island.
