This is cute! I love the color of the wall behind you and the fact that your wearing black and white. Just a fun set all in all.

Great set of shots.

However just as a note, it would have been interesting to see some different extreme angles such as from low down - could produce some equally interesting shots.

Like the previous poster, I love the colour of the background.

How did you do the lighting?

Ross

We're actually wearing dark blue jeans. After processing (used some lightroom 3 preset) they went black. I was going to recover the exposure & color of the jeans but I liked the look, it really made you focus on us in the white tees.

Thanks.

Totally agree it would have been interesting to try new angles.

These were self portraits, so my camera was on a tripod.

Thanks for the feedback.

You two are having way too much fun! Looks like the pictures from those photo booths. #2 just makes me smile.

Glad you noticed that - those were two deliberate choices. Also, using the 17mm lens(on a crop body) up high to make our heads disproportionate to our bodies I think helped bring focus to our faces.

Yeah the photo booth was the inspiration - as you can probably tell from the collage/contact sheet.

My original idea was just tight crops on the face & upper body, but the test shots were pretty boring & limited our poses.

Thanks again for the comments
