There is a cemetery for German soldiers that lost their lives in Norway during WW2 and snapped a few pictures. Your honest opinions please.

Last one is my favorite. The color landscape ones seem a bit soft - did you use a tripod and a small aperture?

I just left a thread where the moderators felt obligated to remove some inappropriate comments about a shot of a U.S. Civil War Confederate flag. Let's not start up again children. :)

Normally, I would say that dappled sunlight ruins a shot. But the pattern on the first one is kind of interesting. I can't find a story, however. I'll forgo the usual criticism of selective color in number six in favor of a note on composition. The gravestone has a clear direction in which it is facing. When you have that, you need to give the subject a little room to "look", which translates into needing more space on the right. As it is, the composition is unbalanced.

Didn’t take the tripod with me and I realized to late that every single picture was shot with an aperture of 3,5 and ISO 100 – 200.

That picture was croped. But here is the original photo

#2 for me has the best composition, I would clone or crop out that bit on the edge of the right side[my right] of the frame though.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

I think without a tripod, you needed to go for shallow depth of field, which would have required a more interesting subject selection and a clear, but blurred, pattern in the background. Just my amateur .02.

Like 6 the best. Good PP. The rest seem very dark (under exposed).

my first reaction is that I am happy to see that while the Germans were (in the US) considered the villains in WWII, we are thoughtful enough to recognize the individual sacrifices of the majority of them that were fighting for their country - even in countries thay may have overrun. They are all some mothers' sons ...
