I feel sorry for the fuel maintenance folks. Conformals are the worse idea ever for the F-16.

I absolutely love the lighting on this shot

Honestly they haven't been an issue for our jets so far. I work on these things everyday they have other issues but fuel isn't the common one. Thanks for the compliment.

It just seems like it adds an element to troubleshooting that the F-16 doesn't need, it being hard enough to troubleshoot. I've been working fuels on them for 10 years from block 30s to block 52s and they never seem to amaze me at the amount of things that can be wrong and still NOT be the problem :D I love them though, not looking forward to the phase out to F-22 and F-35.

I've been a crew chief for 10 years now 6 on the A-10 and 4 on the F-16. I can't wait to get the F-35 personally

Wow, CFTs and 3 bags of gas. Maybe it's the angle or focal length, but those wing tanks look slightly larger than the 370s we fly around with. Nice capture though.

Great shot. I didn't know the F16 had conformal tanks. That that was limited to the F-15.

Somehow, when they're on, they really uglify what is normally a beautiful plane.
