It went better today then yesterday. Better light.

Great improvement. Get the 400. I was reading another post of yours. I sold my 100-400 for mine. Wish I would have gone with it to begin with.

Try and stop down to f/7.1 and see the diff...

Looks like some tough shooting conditions (shade and filtered light) so considering that a nice image. Was this cropped much?

light was a bit tough. It is also near 100% crop.
