Im disappointed to say Ive spent the majority of the peak of this fall either working or out of town so I had very little time for photography. However, I took off from work early today and took my dogs for a walk along a creek near my house.

Here's the first image I processed, maybe more to come if I decide to keep them.

Hope you like it, comments and crit welcome.

Great composition and location. I love the image but it seems too blue. Your WB may be a bit off. The water is okay but the rocks in the foreground and background are just too blue. I'm sorry to hear you missed the peak colors but glad you at least got out for a while. Keep shooting and sharing your images.

Glad you liked it, thank you!

Its not the WB though. I added a bit of a blue/yellow shift using curves to give the image a bit of a different feel...when I have a chance, Ill post the image without this shift to see if that one goes over better. Thanks for the crit.

Just out of curiosity, what browser are you using? I just looked at this image in Firefox and it is definitely over saturated using that browser because it is not a color managed browser. When I look at it in IE, it looks much better.

Can you (or anyone) look at this image in IE and let me know if the image still appears over saturated for your tastes?

Thanks!

I am using Internet Explorer to view your images. I viewed your images on my laptop and desktop. My desktop has a new monitor and it's still a tad on the blue side, almost identical to the laptop. I hope this helps. Keep in mind your image is still a terrific capture. It's just a tad blue for my taste.
