Recently acquired a Canon 100mm macro lens and this was one of my first shots with it.
Please let me know what you think and any constructive criticism is welcome as I am wanting to improve as much as I can with this lens.

Like it came out well.
No expert on flower shots but think you really need to get the lighting right to make a flower shot stand out.

Lovely shot, I like it. Not sure if slightly more directional lighting might help to bring out the folds a bit more.

Next time, try experimenting with a reflector and vary the about of fill light over several shots, you can then choose the treatment you like the most.

nice shot. It seems really soft (not the picture, the flower). I also got my 100mm L and a rose to practice with today.
