Anyone ever heard of any way to trick this printer so it'll accept smaller sheets of paper? ie. 2.25" x 8.5"? Right now, either way I load the paper (horizontal or vertical) it gives me the error message that the paper width is smaller than allowed (3.5"). Is it possible? or is this just a physical limitation?

Why not just print first, cut to size second.

And its most likely a limitation of the rollers.

Gosh, it doesn't surprise me that it refuses. Some years ago I just took the plunge and bought a good paper cutter, and don't regret it.

Thanks for the replies guys! That is in fact what I'm doing for onsite printing at events. But that's one extra step on the day of the event that I was hoping I could get around by pre-cutting my paper. This limitation also means that unless I have two strips ready to print, one has to just sort of wait around. That's why I was hoping for a way to hack the printer :) If anyone does think/hear of something, please let me know! Thank you!
