so my cactus v2s just pooped on me and stopped working...so i went to my local camera store and saw they had wireless triggers and recievers. i baught the promaster cuz the girl said they have a lifetime warranty and they work pretty good. so i baught it, 50 bux...

i get home to try it out, and i am a little upset...only syncs at 1/50th...i usually do 1/60th with the cactus...will this be annoying? and is there a way to change this?

If you're not happy with shooting at 1/50 shutter speed, then you're only recourse is to return the set and get something better.

just get something like the RF-602 or the Meike MK-RC7 (AAA batteries) off ebay both will sync up to your cameras max sync speed, the are also pretty cheap.

I also had them, 1/50 was the best I could get also. Looking to get the 602s myself.

A little late, but hopefully some useful info. I work for a store that sells Promaster. I was excited when these came out, was going to replace my Cactus triggers.

Turns out that every one of them shipped out to stores was defective. Take it back, the store will give you your money back--at least they should. Promaster acknowledges there's a problem with these syncs and most reputable vendors have pulled them from their shelves...

Some cameras, some lenses, plenty of gaffer's tape and beer.

RF-602 is where it's at. Great triggers, good distance and everything.
