I hesitate to do this, as I'm afraid I won't pay the mortgage this month, but it's a way to introduce useful tools to everyone.

Posters should show pictures and links to vendor sites.

Mine right now is the Tenba messenger wrap, comes in three sizes, and can protect anything from a small lens to a laptop. Ideal for tossing some gear into a messenger bag or trekking backpack, or taking up the wiggle room in a Pelican. The 16" size is perfect for pro bodies and lenses up to the 100-400L. About $12. Which of your kids do you love the most?

Seriously, this question should never be asked...

Jay, next time i'm over at Korea's Fabric Market, i'll go and buy a couple of yards of the microfiber fabric for you... so you too can be wrapped in soft-cuddly-abrasion-resistant-microfiber goodness!

:)

I hope you're joking about not asking the question. This is supposed to be fun.

If not, then show your most recent aquisition.

Of course it was a joke Jay! ;)

It is just hard to decide... hahaha! I am designing a piece of furniture to store my bags and accessories... so that should be my favorite one.

Albert,

Does it close with Velcro?

I certainly would like to see that! Every so often I see a thread here asking how people store their gear. And it's generally in a Pelican or a similar soft-sized bag under the bed or in the cellar.

Here is a quick diagram of the main structure. Drawers and doors are missing.

1. (Door opening upwards) There I will put 5 plugs to make a charging station (3x AA Eneloop Chargers + 2x LP-E6 chargers).

2 & 3. Small drawers for little things.

4 & 5. Two shelves for some of the Think Tank Modular components I own and the Think Tank Hydrophobia 70-200. (One door covering both shelves, opening outwards).

6. One bigger drawer for the Think Tank Pro and Steroid Speed Belts, Think Tank Pixel Racing Harness and the resto of the Modular components.

7. (Door opening outwards) Think Tank Airport TakeOff with my gear and some accessories. Fits up to a TT Airport Security V 2.0.

8. (Door opening outwards, and a hook at the top which can't be seen) Think Tank Shape Shifter hanging empty. Fits either collapsed or expanded.

I still have to master the last details and decide on the color. I am thinking about flat black with brushed aluminum details.

Oh, almost forgot about the dimensions! 22" x 55-58" -can't remember!- x 16" (W x H x D).

I did it in SolidWorks 2010, in 3D of course! ;)

I'm just lazy to do the doors and drawers now as it is nothing more than a sketch! I'll do it later on when I have everything figured out, just before going out to buy some wood.
