I used the swivel hook connectors in the above second link to attach two cameras to my harness as seen in the photo. I believe that OpTech makes neck straps with the hook connectors as well.

The hooks connect to the Adapt-It eyes at each camera corner, seen in the second photo below. Alternatively, you can use a Utility Loop in the first link above.

Just got this paracord Survival Strap bracelet (external link) as ordered in post above. Very cool! Just as advertised, great for the field, fit is perfect. Love it. Ordered Desert Tan with black center stripe.

You can reverse it and put it on the other way. Either way, you don't feel the pin.

And if you will note, it's a perfect match. It's camoulaged by the arm and the hair. That was the idea, in fact.

here my lens cup.. for some reason i always feel weird drinking out of it each time just the thought of this being a cheap Chinese knock off just feels weird.. maybe its just the taste of the metal lol..

QUOTED IMAGE

but my coolest accessory would be my Pixel Knight TR-332 and my RRS B87-QR Bracket finally being able to shoot TTL off shoe and having a camera that looks bigger then my friends lol =p

QUOTED IMAGE

I know this post is old as hell, but what's the point of using the remote triggers when you can just attach an ETTL cord from that distance?

Optech swivel + optech Utility loop + industry disgrace.

The swivel comes on a long piece of strap with a quick buckle but I remove all that and use just the swivel on the end of the crumpled strap.

The swivel has a inner facing clasp so it can't cone undone accidentally & slide off & it's a snug fit to the utility loop but once on it can move freely.

I do this on all my cameras to make the strap quick disconnect.

These are handy after-market caps for lenses and bodies. From OpTech. (external link) The advantage is that they have an O ring, they align with the red dot on the lenses and bodies, and they have a 3/8" rubber surface for a better grip. The O rings are the main advantage for dust and moisture exclusion.

Just picked up this flashlight for dark situations, after sundown and emergencies.

It's the tactical Fenix LD20 flashlight, which is small, casts a 200 lumen beam, multiple levels of light below 200, an automatic SOS switch, strobe and uses AA batteries, including rechargables. This last point is the most important one. Most tactical lights need lithium, hard-to-find batteries.

It's waterproof at shallow depths, and comes with extra O rings and an extra rubber switch cover. Also a lanyard and very cool heavy nylon sheath, which is Molle system compatible. $55.00.

It's very lightweight and built like a tank, and it's amazing how bright this light can be. Using it at the highest brightness uses up the batteries faster. It's worth it to carry some Eneloops especially for it.

This thing...WFT-E2 in one night it paid for itself five times over!

I was able to file before anyone else....using a starbucks wifi connection...it was fantastic. My suggestion with this, file medium resolution JPEGs...or RAW files.
Now I have it set up to run with the wifi on my iPad, so I can file with my ipad dataplan

I agree, cargo pants are very useful, with plenty of pockets for storage.
I'd say it's one of my most useful accessories in the field.

When I was shopping at Sears, I bought this Trader Bay shirt, with 4 pockets.
Now I always have a place to store the lens cap. :)

Well, I've not got the BDU pants shown above, but I do have several pairs of these Columbia Silver Ridge Convertible pants. They've got only one cargo pocket on each side, but can be zipped off into shorts which is ideal where I'm going.

I recommend these highly, if anyone is interested. I saw a bunch of cargo pants, these were the best.

They fit the bill as a cool accessory, extremely well made, very light weight, very well-cut. Available in waist and inseam sizes. One pocket zipped in the back, one on the front is a double pocket with one layer zipped as well. Web belt included on each pair.

The nylon material doesn't wrinkle as much as shown in the khaki color below, more smooth as in the grey-green.

This is the incredibly tough Optech Adapt-its http://www.procameragear.com …_info.php/products_id/612 (external link) For some bizarre reason you get three to a pack. Combined with the http://www.procameragear.com …_info.php/products_id/233 (external link) swivel adapters onto an Optech strap.

It’s a bit of a bugger but you can get the Adapt-Its on the other way up on both sides. Heating them in hot water helps.

Having said that, I actually loathe straps and rarely use them anyway.

For people using the Adapt-its...how does it slip into the metal hoop on the camera? will it just fall through if you disconnect the strap from the connectors? I've been wanting to use the pacsafe 200 shoulder strap as a camera strap but could never find a good way to connect it without quick-release systems. i feel safer with carbines

The Adapt-Its will stay in the metal lugs on the camera, because they are very hard to insert. You have to heat them in boiling water for 1 minute, then squeeze them through each lug.

Once in, they will never come out unless you wiggle them out hard, with a needle nose pliers.

That's why I prefer the utility loop to the adapt-its.

The adapt-its I feel will wear out from being bent into weird angles to make them fit.
